Reale Immobili selected the Duff & Phelps Real Estate Advisory Group (REAG)as an advisor to start a competitive tendering process, aimed at transferring one of the most famous buildings located in the well know Piazza della Signoria in Florence.
The building, Palazzo dei Mercatanti (or Calimata), was owned by one of the richest and most powerful corporations of the XIV century in Florence.
The property is a unique investment opportunity, with a prominent and well know location, good visibility and a total covered surface area of approx. 2,000 sqm. It is fully rented to prime tenants, including both retail and professional.
Reale Immobili decided to sell this unique real estate asset due to a wider plan of valorization of its properties, whose main assets are located in Milan, Turin and Rome.
