“Compliance is really important these days. Firms are rightly concerned with compliance risk and regulatory risk and know that regulatory action in the industry can be quite damaging, both financially and reputationally. Consequently, companies and the regulator want firm regulatory controls in place….I would say that the compliance culture in Jersey is a lot better than it was and a lot of the basic controls are much better.”
