Prior to joining the firm, Ham was a managing director and Head of Financial Sponsor Coverage at Oppenheimer & Co., the asset management and investment banking firm in New York. Before Oppenheimer, he was a managing director in the Financial Sponsors Group at Houlihan Lokey. In addition to working with financial sponsors, his investment banking experience includes M&A roles at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse as well as industrials coverage at Salomon Brothers.
At Kroll, Ham is primarily responsible for building relationships with private equity firms on the East Coast as well as the generation and execution of M&A transactions, including leveraged buyouts, divestitures, recapitalizations and strategic alternatives analyses; transactions opinions, such as fairness and solvency opinions; and (iii) corporate valuation opinions, primarily for ESOP, board of director advisory or other corporate purposes.
Ham received his B.A. from Tufts University and his MBA from Columbia Business School. He also completed the Credit and Advanced Credit training programs at Chemical Bank and holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.
